We have always loved Amsterdam...visually striking and full of history. We were captivated by the canals, architecture, bicycling, and lively atmosphere... and while visiting decided this was the place we wanted to live. In 2006 we made our wish a reality and opened egg mercantile. Constantly inspired by the blend of traditional and modern aestetics that our adoptive city embraces, we try to fill our shop with things we feel share this same fusion of ideas.
